Website Server , Hosting Video , Audio and user profiles.

Hello , I need help in planning Multiple server setups for a Video , Audio user profile website , Need the ability to host videos , I have found how to's similar to youtubeish type sites for windows server 2000 , But am unable to find anything for Linux or more specifically Ubuntu server , May I ask that someone point me in the right direction?
