weird awn activity

along with my desktop going black for a few seconds, i am running the AWN dock and once the screen comes back, the dock shows up at the bottom like it should but the icons appear in the bottom left and they sloooowly slide towards the dock.

i'm sure this is attributed to whatever issue i'm currently having with my video driver.

When I ran AWN that happpened to me too, it's just how AWN starts up I guess

This also happen to my computer everytime gnome and awn starts up. It just takes few seconds. I have my video card correctly configured.
I have sometimes another issue with AWN, when i drag a icon to the dock, all icons dissapear for few seconds, sometimes they never get back.

That's the way that AWN works. One of the main reasons why I decided to try Cairo Dock (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CairoDock) My computer would get to a point where the "sliding" got really annoying when opening or closing several windows at the same time. http://http://img370.imageshack.us/img370/5711/normalex4.png
