I just installed Hardy for the first time. Installed my Nvidia drivers and edited xorg.conf with my monitor's resolution. I rebooted, logged in and I noticed everything was "fuzzy". So I went under System->Preferences->Screen Resolution and changed my Refresh Rate from 50Hz to 51Hz. This seemed to fix the problem.
However, whenever I restart X, the login screen still has that fuzzy quality. Once I get logged in, the picture is clear and the refresh is still set to 51Hz.
How can I get my login screen to be clear too?
