What is wrong with this program? Since I use Ubuntu a few months ago, this program always freeze my system. Freeze here mean my system becoming useless; no keyboard (so any 'magic' combination will not work). Today I'm really f**k up. After hard reboot, all my torrent are gone. One file I downloaded was just 2% away from finish. Stupid TOTEM! I am installing VLC now but if anyone have any experience and suggestion please share with me.
Regarding system freeze; what is the magic solution. Do I miss some trick! Frankly I never experience the so called 'blue screen' in Windows before but occasional freezing which I can easily escape by Ctrl+Alt+Delete combi. This is maybe one of many things I lost when I decided to dump XP for the more 'stable' Ubuntu....

why don't you just uninstall totem if you have problems with it?

Control + alt + backspace
I also had some totem freezes, but only when I tried playing content over ssh.
Totem seems to be the only player being able to do that, and it will freeze in about 5% of the time.

I'm going to dump TOTEM once and for all! Thanks to all for giving me assurance that I'm not the only one facing this problem. Thanks
