Soon, I am going on a fairly long plane journey and would like to use my laptop (running Ubuntu, obviously) for some form of entertainment during the flight.
Ubuntu is fairly easy on the laptop battery anyway, but how would I go about minimising battery usage to extend the time for which I can use it as long as possible? All I will really use it for is a bit of file browsing, Python programming and maybe a DVD, if that helps you at all.
