Hello,
I have a Macbook Pro on which I run Ubuntu 8.04 and Debian Lenny (don't know which I'm going to run with yet).
Everything works perfect except for the EyeTV Hybrid DVB-T stick I have. I just can't get it set up at all. I've tried about 4 different guides to get v4l and em28xx drivers working but I'm giving up after 2 days of work.
If anyone can help me out who has got their EyeTV Hybrid or HVR-900 working in either Ubuntu 8.04 or Debian Lenny, please help me out?

If all else fails, a new stick is like £30, so I'll just buy again (shame though).
Any suggestions for a Debian/Ubuntu friendly DVB-T set-up?
What hardware/software is a good combination? It needs to be a USB stick not a card etc.
Thanks

You could try this (HVR-900) :

Hi, yes that is one of the guides I followed, along with mcentral, linuxtv.org etc but just can't get it working.
Wondering if there are any DVB-T sticks that work out of the box on Ubuntu?
