ATI All In Wonder X1800XL A/V capture?

I have an ATI All In Wonder X1800XL with on-board A/V capture capabilities. Has anyone been able to get this to work in Ubuntu?

The fglrx driver won't help you there. But the ati page mentions some oss project which "should" work quite well.[http://ati.amd.com/products/catalyst/linux.html#8]
The oss DRIVERS are far away from supporting video capturing.

EDIT:
The project is named GATOS, though it only supports up to 9700.. so bad luck. I think you would do a lot better getting a supported TVcard.
