[SOLVED] Cant resize windows!

Ahh help! Cairdo dock froze once (disappeared) and I pressed that button on my toolbar "force a misbehaving app to quit" on the space where cairo is supposed to be. I then restarted and updated (including the "recommended updates" - Dont know if that has something to do with it). Point is, none of my windows have minimize, maximize buttons. Even pidgin doesnt (I cant even resize the buddy list). Can anyone help me?

metacity --replace

and see.....

Clicking on the space where Cairo was probably clicked on the desktop and so killed metacity, the window manager.
