IMac G3

Hi all,

I have a piece of computing history that someone gave me. It is an iMac G3 500 MHZ (circa 2001) It has both Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS X version 10.0.2(cheetah) on it. I know that the OS X is based on BSD Unix. Could someone tell me what programming language Mac OS 9.1 is written in. I know that historically, a lot of Mac stuff was written in Pascal/MacPascal. Is this the case with Mac OS 9.1 or is it some other language ?
