I think this is an all variants question. Is Shared Desktop a Kubuntu feature or a Ubuntu feature? Everytime I connect to a system and then end the connection the target system gives an error message that shared desktop had a problem and needs to close. There has to be a user on that end to close that msg or I can't connect again. Once the msg is cleared I can connect again.
