[SELinux] HAL failed to load after installing

When installing SELinux from the Ubuntu repos and restarting, I noticed a message telling me that HAL failed to load and that I could not connect wirelessly to the internet.

Currently I'm using the latest version of Xubuntu available on iso form and have downloaded all the latest updates.

Is there a solution? Has this happened to anyone else?

I've encountered the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04.
