View Full Version : Request: NWN 2 For Linux

As of right now Obsedian is not planning on makeing a Linux or Mac port of Neverwinter Nights 2. Please respond to this thread and show them that there is a demand for it. Even if you dont play, Bioware released a Linux version and that was one of the deciding factors of me changing to Linux and Ubuntu. Dont let them ruin it now.

i tried to reply but this link said that i have to register to that forum first to post anything, why dont you collect firms like everybody else is doing?

Ahhh, but this is Atari's official forums. While signing up to register is not ideal, consider what not doing might mean. Bioware sent us to this thread, so it would be the best place for it. Heck, fill out gibberish information if you want, but please add your voice to that thread, so Atari knows that we want a native Linux port of NWN2!

you also need to consider that the developers need to hear this feedback as well. I think Atari is mearly the publisher. Bioware chose to make the nwn linux client on their own, not Atari, make sure you are letting the correct people know your opinions.

I know this is an old thread but I thought it was worth bringing to peoples attention again.

I singed it. I think that companies developing clients for linux is very healthy for the community.

Well Bioware doesn't mind making a linux client and they will do it if it's okay for Atari. They stated it somewhere.
