I was wondering if someone wanted to look over my code and see if I've done anything wrong or if I could write the code a little better. It's a gui I've been working on for helping my friends do some performance tweaks, just so I can learn python and pygtk. Eventually I'm going to add a firefox, apache. and mysql section. If theres any other tweaks you can think of for me to add put them in this thread and I'll try to add them. If you want to run this it needs to be run as root, also it backs up all the configs it changes to filename.bak before it makes changes so if it screws anything up just copy them back over(the files it changes are /etc/fstab,/etc/sysctl.conf,and /boot/grub/menu.lst). Thanks for any help on this.
