Just bought a new computer and am trying to set it up with Hardy. It detects the network card, but can't reach any outside hosts.
The usual command I use for this seems to have no effect (ifconfig eth0 up)
Below is output from lspci, lshw, and lsmod. What else should I be trying? Anyone else have luck with this board?
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ lspci | grep net

I have also tried modprobe atl1, and modprobe atl2, but to no avail.
Also, yes, I know there is a wireless card there, but am not using it. I am trying to get some internet out of an RJ45 cable.
