Hi,
I have Fedora 9 installed on a dual-NIC PC and I follow this neat instructions to set it up as transparent:
http://kuscsik.blogspot.com/2008/01/transparent-proxy-with-squid-3-on.html
I know they are for ubuntu but I think is the same.
Well, when Squid is fully installed I can access it configuring each computer for using 3128 port and the proxy address. When I type the iptables commands I don't have access through it. I configure the clients to have Squid server as gateway but no success. I configured them manually to use the server and nothing. And the server has no internet anymore.
What's going on with iptables?
