Problems logging into linksys router wirelessly

I'm trying to edit the settings on my Linksys router. When I log in (with 192.168.1.1) it takes a long time to load and some of the images never load. From there if I try to click on a link (I'm trying to set up port forwarding) the page won't load at all. I get a firefox error. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this?

Can you confirm if it works OK on a wired connection?

Also what model of router is it? I have a WAG54G V2 and it works fine in firefox.
