I took a BNSL CDMA WLL usb modem phone.
I need the driver for the same.

Have you tried using "lsusb" with the device connected to get the hardware identifier of your modem? There may well be a compatible driver that is not specific to your exact hardware.

I tried
It listed the device, but ther were only few numbers and no name for the device.

The numbers are the bit you need it should be 2 sets of 4 hexadecimal characters I think. Try googling them along with "ubuntu driver" or some other ubuntu related terms.

I too have the same problem in connecting my HUWAEI T1 ETS2288 device which is a BSNL WLL for connecting the internet. I would like to connect it using my Ubuntu 8.04 and any help would be great.

hi friends .. have a look at the following blog for clear idea regarding the cdma wll internet connection...
there is no need of specific driver for that modem..

use the above blog and comment how it does and if any doubts post there.. i'll solve them
