I wondered the same thing. I do not think they ever had a final release for 7.10.

"What's up with Fluxbuntu" is that it's a 7.10 release candidate with no updates or bug fixes since 2007 and minimal activity on the fluxbuntu forums. Anything beyond that is just speculation. :) Your best resource for fluxbuntu questions is right here on ubuntuforums. For example, there's a tutorial on another thread for upgrading to Hardy (it's easy).
