Alright, question 1:

I have an iPod classic which I listen to a lot of music with, when I ran windows and iTunes, i'd just sync my ipod with the computer and the tracks i'd listened to would be scrobbled to Last FM. Unfortunately i've noticed that this is not the case in Amarok. I was wondering if I had to configure it to do so, or whether it just doesn't happen.

Question 2:

Due to the fact that i'm new with the whole Ubuntu thing, I genuinely haven't a clue where to start getting drivers for and installing drivers for my Logitech USB Desktop Microphone, so any help there would be appreciated :)

I think you misunderstand, I have everything working in Amarok apart from the iPod to Last FM scrobbling, unfortunately that guide covers everything I have working and not the Last FM issue :)

As an update I have found Amarok should do the scrobbling by default, however it isn't so there must be some form of problem somewhere along the line. Anyone else experienced this?

You can try Lastpod; http://www.lastpod.org/
or read through this thread: http://www.last.fm/group/Amarok+Users/forum/18538/_/361874
I don't have an iPod so I can't really help you with specifics...
PS: that was the first link I found when googling for "ipod scrobble linux" ;)

I also found that thread, that's how I figured out it was supposed to do it by default, unfortunately I didn't find any answers there, just more people with the same problem. I'll go have a play around with Lastpod and see what results I come up with.

Thanks :)
