Compiz doesn't like Pidgin?

Hi folks,

I've started using Compiz on my Kubuntu (KDE3) but now Pidgin doesn't flash on the tray when someone sends me a message.

Yes, Message Notification plugin is configured correctly, and the flashing "functionality" returns if I return from Compiz to KWin

If I need to supply any more information, please let me know. Honestly my "migration" to Compiz hasn't been peaceful, this is yet another issue that I've been facing... :(
