When using envy to install a driver for 'nvidia geforce go' it seems to do everything, but I'm still stuck in 600x resolution. Any help?

I recommend merely installing the proprietary nvidia driver provided by the Restricted Drivers Manager.

Here's what I've got:
Nvidia GeForce Go 7600
64 Bit Video 17 TFT Active Matrix Wide WXGA+
Envy appears to have found a GeForce driver, as I am back to a higher resolution. In the past my System>Administration>Hardware Drivers would say I had the nvidia 'latest' driver. I was thus able to change resolutions. Now I can't change at all, I get this:
XServer does not support XRandR extension.

Did you set it to the resolution you desire under "System Settings" too?
