Can you play Regular Windows games on Ubuntu? And if so how do i do that?

im looking at installing need for speed and battlefront

You can't just play them on Linux (usually) but using Wine(X) or Cedega most games run pretty easy on Ubuntu.

Have a look at the games section of this forum or websites dedicated to linux gaming.

you probably need to get your 3D accelerator running first though. Instructions for that are found here or in the help installed on your ubuntu system
