Half Life 1 and The Service Pack

Ok.

I thought that I would install one of the classics on my PC - Half Life (1).
So I put the CD in the drive I type in my CD Key and...I get the problem saying:

Service Pack 3 is needed...

So that's where I'm stuck, cheers.

I'm assuming you're doing this through wine? Try this...

Using the menu, go to Applications -> Wine -> Configure Wine

Set "Windows Version" to Windows XP.
