Issues installing ndiswrapper etc.

Hi,
I posted earlier about not being able to use my wireless card (it is a broadcom BCM4309 I believe. I have since figured out that I probably need to install the ndiswrapper, and since I am new at this I would like to install the graphical interface as well. However, I do not know how to do these things without an internet connection on that computer. When I try to install them having transfered them there via thumb drive it always fails, saing that the files cannot be found on the installation disc. This is very frustrating, because that is not where I told it to look for the files at all. Have tried both synaptic and following the command line prompts from ndiswrapper. However done with the command prompts I receive a multitude of errors in the first step saying permission denied (make uninstall) Any ideas?

Please check out this link (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=766560). It seems to be the best one for wireless. In step 2 use 2a settings in the link mentioned.

I had tried the same instructions elsewhere to the following results, and they happened again here it is:

Any ideas? I also tried running apt-get update to the following results:

Sorry i meant to say that all of those errors occur because I do not have internet on the computer that I am trying to get wireless to work on... but not sure how else to do it. I need to know how to tell it where to look for files to install instead of automatically checking web links....

I also have the same suggestions when I type in the following

sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper-common

again it suggests running apt-get update or running fix-missing, of which neither work

:(
