how to uninstall ubuntu and install win xp or win vista

Hi All,

I had recently ran g partition on my system and deleted all the partitions on my pc in order to uninstall Ubuntu. I want to reinstall windows XP or Vista and when ever I try do I get error message "your bios is not fully ACPI compatible please update your bios or press F7 to silently disable ACPI" I have Phoenix BIOS. Please help ?????????????????????????::(

This has nothing to do with ubuntu, its most likely caused by buggy bios or bad hardware configuration.

Its best to install windows first then just let the Ubuntu installer take care of the partitions.

Are you trying to do a dual bot with Ubuntu and XP or Vista?

try looking for an answer on google and the bios manufacturer site

Erm, and have you tried pressing F7?
If F7 didn't work then it sounds like you need to update your BIOS.
