Extreme Linux Newbie here.
Installed Ubuntu from my DVD-RW drive with relatively few problems. Ubuntu seemed to recognize the drive fine.
After install I see CD-RW/DVD+-Rw under computer. When I attempt to view the contents of a cd I receive the message "unable to mount location, no media in the drive". I also receive this message when I attempt to "eject". Have tried multiple cd's and dvd's.
Oh yes, the type of drive is NEC 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE/ATAPI Model ND-3550A
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
