Does anyone know of any good web browsers for Windows Mobile 6? I just got a Samsung Blackjack II and it came with Internet Explorer which IMO doesn't do a very good job of displaying web pages. I tried out Opera Mobile and it works great, but it costs $25 or so and I just don't want to pay a bunch of money for a web browser for my telephone... Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

I am not sure if that device has java. If it does get opera mini. It's the bomb and free.

The only one that really comes to mind is Opera. Though there are rumors of Mozilla jumping in this market.

I'll check that out and I'll report back. Thanks for the suggestion!

I've also heard that Mozilla is supposed to be coming out with something but I do not know if it's true. I found this:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/
but I'm not sure if it will work with my phone... It also seems like an older program; it's for Windows Mobile 5. Opera Mobile is a super great browser but I have a really hard time shelling out like $25 for a program for my phone... Programs for my phone seem to be hard to find. Anyway, thanks for the response!

minimo is terribly buggy so stay away from it. Im currently using skyfire (http://www.skyfire.com/). Its still in beta and took me forever to get in but its an amazing browser. Has a few bugs but its expected. Ive tried every browser and none have satisfied me. Skyfire has a little load time so i only use it for serious browsing but if i need to look something up quick i just use pie.

Thanks! I actually just heard about skyfire like 2 days ago and I signed up for beta testing but I think it's going to take a while to get it. I use internet explorer and Opera Mini but internet explorer doesnt work that great and opera mini renders pages nicely but it's a bit cumbersome to use. I guess I may just have to deal with it because there doesn't seem to be much out there for choices.

there are actually several choices but none are much better than pie. i saw a post on engadget a while back about a mobile version of firefox (not minimo) which seems quite promising.
