I have an xbox running as a samba server and i would like to change the operating system from xebian to xbuntu, i currently use webmin and ssh to configure it and was wondering if there is any software similar to webmin available for xbuntu? or is there a better way of doing this?

Thanx in advance

Wouldn't webmin work, its just a different version of linux. ..
*searchs google*
you could just use webmin and openssh as your used to. no problem.
Is this being done on a regular xbox1 with a modchip? I'm just wondering how did you install linux on it? I have 2 xbox's with modchips non operational, and I'd like to get them operational again.

I'm a newbie to linux but i'm learning slowly. I'll get there in the end.

Yea it was a standard xbox1, but i've flashed the cromwell image to the TSOP so there is no microsoft code in the bootloader. Have a look here (http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/TSOP_flashing_HOWTO) for info on TSOP flashing.

Then you can install any distribution of linux ported to the xbox. See here (http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Download) for more info on that.

They make a great little fileserver, i have 2 500Gb harddrives in mine.

I installed webmin without problems on Ubuntu. You should download the Debian Package from their site and it will install without issues.
