right mouse click problem in firefox

Hello,

I'm considering removing ubuntu just because of one reason- I have no clue how to make the right click work properly in Firefox 3.

When I try to right click, sometimes the menu will show up and sometimes it will not. Sometimes I have to click 3 times for it to pop up. Worse yet, sometimes when I click right button it will randomly select a choice on its own.

Is there a solution for it?

There is a reported bug in Firefox 3 (seehttps://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/206295. But it doesn't happen all the time or on all computers (it has never happened to me, for example).

So there is not fix for it?

If that helps, this happens only with the mouse connected to my laptop. Touchpad works fine.
