I've tried this virtualizations products tu run ubuntu in a virtual machine

1. Parallels
2. Virtualbox
3. VMware

I recomend WMWare, fast, easy to configure, almost feel native, best of all.

Parallels...well you can't install the parallels tools (not uptodate to xorg 7, the installation stops early)

Virtualbox: Not as fast as Wmware...

Ok, bye

Well I agree with you, but are you talking about virtualization of Ubuntu, or IN Ubuntu?

I like VMWare Server installed on Ubuntu running Windows XP.

Very good environment and quite stable.

Illegal, and not allowed to discuss here. Sorry. As for windows and ubuntu, My friend Pete uses Virtualbox and loves it. Free, and amazing software. It does run very well. I however triple boot win, mac, linux.
