Hi there, sorry if there already is a similar thread...
I installed Ubuntu 8.0.4 on my computer to use as a media center.
Here's my probs:
1) I am trying to install my usb infrared stick (to use with remote), but no luck. When I insert it nothing happens? How do I install this?
2) Can I use the media center that gets installed with ubuntu 8.0.4 with a remote? Or is there another one I must use? Can't seem to find setting for a remote...
Please post some steps on how to set up ubuntu as a media center WITH a remote. I've been struggling with this for over a week now... :(
