Good screen recorder and audio recorder

Hi guys, I want to tutorial videos for (x)(k)ubuntu users but I am struggling to find a screen recorder and audio recorder I can use. I tried gtk-recordmydesktop but I get an ogg file which I can't edit. Audacity doesn't seem to like my voice and makes it really low :lolflag:.

I also need a program that can let me add the audio file to my video.

Suggestions?
