Hi,
Right, i was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have. Im new to Ubuntu, i use unix at work a lot but have never had it on a home platform. So i DLded Ubuntu and gave it a whirl and have crazy WIFI problems, i suspected to do with the killswitch (small toggle next to the trackpad that disables the wifi). So ive spent the best part of a few months searching every forum known to man, and finally found a solution.

Unfortunately because im essentially a newbe, i dont have the mental power to actually do what the solution seemed to indicate (disable the ethernet, which apparently then lets the WIFI work).
So can someone please please please help me out to do what im sure a lot of u will think is really easy
Just for ref the thread is referring to my laptop (PB Easynote A and the problem is identical. In addition i have literally just done a fresh install of 8.04 and have touched nothing.
