View Full Version : Enemy Territory Brightness reset

During play of Wolfenstein: ET, the brightness will sometimes reset to the darkest setting, does anyone else have this same issue?

Am seeing the same problem. About halfway through a map it suddenly goes dark. Moving to the next map seems to reset it back to normal.
Running 8.04 with an NVidia 9600 GT card with latest Nvidia drivers.

Yes - I see the same thing. Ununtu 8.04 with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

Have either of you got a screen-saver turned on? I suspect that might be the problem. Mine was set to darken the screen and activate after 10 mins.

I need to give it some more testing but I turned it off last night and the problem appears to have gone. Don't think I did enough testing to convince myself yet - better get back to it. :)

That may be the problem. Screensaver darkens after 11 and display shuts off after 15.

I'll get back to you if that fixes it.
