I copied the instructions listed here http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1773710 to add a second monitor to my laptop. It was detected and now displays but it just copies what i see on my other screen and because its not a widescreen resolution part of the desktop is cropped off. How do I make the new monitor create a second desktop rather than just copying the one I have?
I went into the Monitor resolution settings but that did nothing, its saying the cloned option is unchecked.
