I have two drives on an it8212 PATA PCI adapter in my Dapper server. Sometimes when I boot, both drives show up fine with
sudo fdisk -l
other times (like now) neither drive shows up. This is a webserver and it's 14 hours by car away from me. Is there any way to figure out/get the drives to show up if fdisk is not showing them in the list? (I have a LOT of drives, so that may be a contributing factor). I haven't changed any of the configuration since the last time I booted and could see the drives, so I know they are there and working, they just aren't showing up.
