Hi all,

quick question,

Is it possible to configure xp home to check an ubuntu server for logon credentials I know profesional will do it, but am unsure about home.

This is more of a windows question than an ubuntu question. Try googling "xp home join domain".

Like cdenley said, this is more of a Windows question, but...

It is my understanding that Home is the same as Pro. The functionality that makes Pro what is is exists in Home, but it's simply "locked" out. You can find resources online that will tell you how to unlock those features.

Things you will probably be looking at setting up for this are:

openLDAP
SAMBA
