I have a problem with my Z60m. It's a Windows problem on top of that. I know, I know. I need to fix this problem so I can back up my info and delet/kill windows. My laptop will power down or go into sleep mode within 15sec when I try to run itunes. It's doing the same thing now with Media player. Takes about 10minutes. It's to the point that its just shuts down for no reason what so ever. Can somebody please help me with this!!!!!!!!!

Boot a Linux LiveCD and backup everything from there.

This sounds as though it could be a hardware, rather than an OS problem. Take the previous posters advice do back up your data before you do anything else, but be aware that removing windows may not solve this problem.

If you can, I'd check to see if your fans are working properly and if your computer seems to be overheating. A computer will turn off if it is in danger of damaging the hardware due to overheating. Try leaving it off for a while to allow enough time to cool down before you try it again. That way, you should at least be able to back up your data if this is indeed the problem.

I'm not 100% sure if I remember right, but the Blaster Worm used to cause very similar symptoms.
