Evolution suddenly stopped receiving messages

Hi. I have Hardy Heron installed. All of a sudden, my evolution mail client no longer receives email messages. I tested this by sending a simple text email from my gmail account... Outgoing messages ARE being sent properly, as I verified with my gmail account also.

Evolution has worked for me (receiving) since upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy, but this behavior appears to have started within the last 2 weeks or so.

Is it possible that one of the many Hardy upgrades has effected Evolution somehow? Is there any test that you could recommend that would help me debug this problem?

Have you checked to see if the server settings in evolution have been changed?

Yes, I did check to see if anything was wiped out in my preferences, but everything looks fine. Maybe I should call my carrier and just make sure that nothing has changed there... I'll do that and let you know.

OK, I found out what's happening. The incoming messages are going into my Trash folder...

Do you know how I can make the default folder "Inbox"? I do have some mail
filters set up. If I delete all of them, would the default behavior be for messages to go to Inbox, or is this controlled by a different setting?
