All,

After switching to my Nvidia graphics card, my sound (which was working perfectly before) no longer functions.

I have tried un-intalling and re-installing my sound packages, to no avail.

Does anyone have any input or advice? Please tell me what you need me to post information-wise since I am still new to Linux.

I have the same problem on an asus PQ5-EM motherboard using the realtek ALC1200 chip (ALC888) compatible.

When I insert a NVIDIA 9600 GT graphicscard, the sound stops working.

Is it a hardware or (NVIDIA/Realtek) driver problem?

Have anybody found a solution for the problem?

Cheers
Jesper
