I run RhytmBox and I really like it but one feature that I'm looking for is that similar to the 'consolidate library' feature in itunes. I'm not sure if you're familiar with this but what that does is make a copy of your music in a folder organized like: artist-> album-> then the songs. I found this invaluable in organizing my music and i really cant stand files just scattered around. i was just wondering if there is a way of doing this in ubuntu.suggestions please?

Try one of the alternate application on that website. Just scroll down to iTunes and try the applications.

Songbird and Amarok may work.
