tuner info advice

So i bought a nice shuttle PC, and dropped a decent chunk of change boosting the ram, getting a 6200 w/ component out capabilities, and 500 gig hdd, etc only find that i cant order the 500 mce from hauppauge. Actually, I cant order it anywhere. Everyone was afraid of getting slapped with fines due to the 2009 switch that everywhere ive checked is refusing to sell to the USA.
This is a very critical component for me because using my shuttle case, i only have 1 pci slot. 1 REGULAR pci slot.

does anyone have any advice on obtaining a dual analog tuner that works in mythbuntu?

I have a PVR-500 floating about here that I'm not using but it's a PAL version not NTSC so that won't help you much.

Are you sure your provider doesn't have a DVB signal? I was using the 500 until I found out purely by chance that my cable provider also sent out most of the channels through DVB-C.
