I'm a total noob with mythbuntu and ubuntu. I installed 8.0.4 and upgraded. I managed to get the dvd player working in mythvideo. I am relatively happy with one minor annoyance. When I am watching a video the toolbar is still forms a line on the screen. I have enabled the autohide but still have a visible line on the screen. I automatically open mythtv on boot up.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

What you oughta do is go in the appearance settings. Utilities/Settings, Setup, Appearance. I think on the second screen called screen settings, it gives you the option of setting the X and Y axis as well as the GUI width and Height. You just need to adjust these settings, more specifically the Y axis to cover or reach all the way to the top of your screen, thereby overlapping the toolbar.
