My MacBook first gen (Core2Duo 1.83GHZ) has a bad case of whining CPU.
I've enabled CPU Frequency Selector and tried various settings, but it's still there.
I've installed the iSight firmware, and have the camera running, but no luck.
In OS X I installed ShhhMBP, which switches the CPU to a differnet power saving mode. That's what's needed here but I read that doing that's impossible.
Any more ideas?
