Hi All

I added Mythbuntu via applications/add/remove and because of problems then went to system/admin/synaptic package manager to install Mythbuntu. I just wanted to see what it was like and then setup on it's own drive. Now when i reboot i get Mythbuntu starting up and can't get to Ubuntu. I should have downloaded the Mythbuntu 8.4 and created an image then i could have installed and created a partition.

No good now the damage is done how do i remove Ubuntu without using a new Cd with image and installing by using the entire drive option. It has taken a little while to get my Ubuntu working how i like it. Could anybody help.

Thanks for reading this post.

They're actually the same thing underneath it tall, but with different startup splash screens. If you want to remove all the Myth* packages, go right ahead. There is a command/gui program that will switch the startup splash screen, but I can't remember off the top of my head. Search for "startup splash" and you'll get plenty of answers for that one.
