I have no internet for my desktop computer and I was going to install OpenSuse11 from the DVD. It has a nice selection, however the DVD does not come with programs such as Wine or the Nvidia-new drivers. Is there a way for me to download these things manually at one pc and install them offline at another?

Wine is on the DVD. You can get the Nvidia stuff here: http://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/11.0 You will need x11-video-nvidiaG01 and nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-pae.
EDIT: The wine version on the DVD is still the RC version. The latest version is here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_11.0

Besides if you do that you will have to hunt dependencies and thats too much unless im bothering to compile stuff.
I have come to realize Kubuntu is better than OpenSuse surprisingly. OpenSuse 11 gnome is horrible, kde4 is not finished and its 3.5 is buggy. The main good thing is it comes with mp3 support and thats useful since I do not have the internet. I like its installer though.
Kubuntu is full featured and stable, and kind of like debian with some simple stuff added like cpu scaling, I hate having to remember to do that myself on debian. :D Thanks for all the advice guys.
