Hi folks
new to Ubuntu, got a successful install, everything works!
Like to program in FreeBasic so installed - ok and then Geany for IDE. When attempting to compile .bas source i am working thru all the files needed via Synaptic Package Manager - also ok until I am told need "-lc". searching in SPM gives lots of options does anyone know what -lc exactly is referencing so i can continue getting Fb running on HH.
thanks in advance jmsgz

Trying to compile a .bas Freebasic source file via Geany (just installed all) and have been working with Synaptic Package Manager when told that xxxx is not found!
But when told that -lc is not found how do I know what library this is in SPM?

thanks in advance
