I've had Ubuntu Hardy Heron installed and configured to my liking for several months now. For a variety of reasons, I need to boot to Windows XP occasionally. I tried VirtualBox, but the performance is unacceptable on my current hardware.
Question is, how painful will it be to install Windows on a spare partition given that Ubuntu is already installed? I see plenty of guides and HOW-TOs for dual-boot configurations but they all want Windows installed first. Are there any tricks to doing it the other way around? I'd hate to have to reinstall and reconfigure Ubuntu.
