Hey... first time poster here...
I had 7.10 running with dual monitors, then upgraded to 8.04.
Now when I maximize a window on my second monitor (the one that
doesn't show the BIOS on boot), it switches over to the first
monitor. This also happens when I open a window on that screen
(such as Firefox) that opens maximized by default.
I have two panels - top and bottom - that I normally keep one on
each screen, but I tried all the different combinations of panel
locations for the two screens, with no luck.
I did a fresh install of 8.04 yesterday from the alternate CD,
and all I did after that was
1) Enabled the NVIDIA restricted drivers, then rebooted.
2) Enabled dual monitors with Xinerama in nvidia-settings.
I have tried restarting X, rebooting the system, etc. to no
avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks
