View Full Version : [ubuntu] Remote session from Windows to Ubuntu

I am having a issue trying to remote from my windows box to ubuntu. I am using tight vnc.When I try to connect to the ubuntu machine from windows, the connection is closed (refused connection by vnc).

Any ideas??

Don't know if this helps but being a total Linux noob I found Putty fairly straight forward to get up and running.
Setting up SSH on the Ubuntu side was pretty simple, it was just figuring out what to type into the window in Putty to make it open that was confusing.

I have actually tried putty, i can connect to a session window.As i ao new to Ubuntu, Just not sure of the commands.
